About

What is Parent & Toddler Studio?

Curiosity-Provoking Play! A play-infused space for toddlers to explore a unique collection of materials that inspire wonder, curiosity, growth, friendships, and learning through play.

You and your child are invited into a calm environment where natural and engaging materials are presented in a beautiful setting that invites open-ended explorations emerging from the innate curiosity of your child. Our studio space offers your child the freedom to explore and learn without traditional programming structures, visual overstimulation, and adult-directed agendas.

The Parent & Toddler Play Studio inspires a magical sense of wonder that lives within your child. Our play studio is a refreshing take on play and inspires endless possibilities that support the growth and development of your child through play.

Why Parent & Toddler Play Matters

We offer a different kind of play experience, one where the whole being of your child is nurtured ~ a place where playful, literacy-rich experiences ignite the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive layers of the brain. We know that research supports play as the highest form of learning in the first eight years of life. Making time to connect meaningfully with your child in our playful, distraction-free environment helps your child to thrive and grow. You, too, will benefit from the connections you make with like-minded parents and teachers who are dedicated to inspiring the brilliant wonder and curiosity of you and your child.

The Parent & Toddler Play Studio is a place where the social-emotional wellness of your child is at the heart of all we do, helping your child bloom in a calm space that nurtures independence, and confidence, as they embrace the joy of free play. Our space offers experiences that nourish essential language skills, social development, emotional wellness, and a love for learning through play.

We offer a fresh take on playgroup. Our program helps you connect with your toddler in meaningful ways that are inspired by the interests of your little one. Holistic in our approach, we foster the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of your child through the freedom of play. You’ll connect with other like-minded people who value a gentle approach to raising children.

Your Child Will Blossom!

Your child will bloom alongside other children as they build relationships and share open-ended play experiences that cultivate a culture of freedom that empowers your child to bloom from where they are. Our Parent & Toddler Play Studio is designed to breed confidence, nurture self-worth, foster self-esteem, encourage a positive attitude, and spark a growth mindset.

Through inspiring encounters, your child will develop friendships and a sense of belonging as they actively contribute to a learning community grounded in play. Your child will gather with friends, teachers, and educators to co-construct new ideas as they uncover new thinking and understandings, invest as much in their own learning as they do in others’ learning, and become an active participant in our collaborative community.

Considering the abundance of research that proves that play builds brains and supports the holistic growth and development of young children, we invite you and your little one to a childhood reimagined here at The Playful Child!
